Village of Secor

        Meeting was called to order by Pres. Ray Bigger.  Minutes of last meeting were read and accepted.  Treasurer’s report showed a balance of $242.42 and accepted on a motion by Lucille Wagner and Esther Robenstein.

     A picnic committee was selcted.  Esther Robenstein offered her asistance.  Others on committee are Mrs. McFall, Mary Heyungs and Juanita Bigger.

     Election of officers for coming school year were held.  Incumbent Pres. Ray Bigger had no opposition.  Martin Duffy was elected over Elfrieda Peters for Vice Pres.  Jane Van Scyoc,  Sec. had no opposition.  Lucille Wagner was elected over Doris Heller for treasurer.

     The trip was discussed, total cost of such being $195.00 or a cost of $3.25 per pupil.  It was decided to pay cost of trip for 4 room mothers.  A special meeting was called for May 5 to make final arrangements and to check on financial standing.

     Meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M. on a motion by Mrs. McFall and Betty Steidinger.

 Secor School Club, May 5, 1959

       A special meeting was held to coordinate plans for coming trips.  A motion was made for School Club to pay in full the expenses of both trips.

     It was decided that no child was to bring more than $.50 for long trip and a maximum of $.25 for Peoria trip.  Girls should wear nothing shorter than pedal pushers.

     Buses were to leave at 7:00 A.M.  All children were to be there by 6:45 A.M.
